
CPR & AED TRAINING
Nevers Medical Group offers thoughtful and high quality CPR, AED, and First Aid training in partnership with Auriemma Life Safety Solutions. Dean Auriemma is an American Heart Association Heart Saver, and Health Care Provider Certified Instructor that has over 25 years of education experience in both the public and private sector. Serving his local communities, Dean is a Firefighter/EMT for the towns of Kennebunk and Kennebunkport. Auriemma Life Safety Solutions offers community, school, and business life safety consulting and teaching.
HEARTSAVER CPR
This course includes both CPR and AED training and practice under the supervision of an American Heart Association certified instructor with practical experience in the EMS field. In addition to Adult CPR and AED training, course participants will receive instruction on Child and Infant CPR/AED application. Adult, Child, and Infant Choking response is an included lesson at no additional charge. The course takes approximately 3-4 hours based on the size of the class. HEARTSAVER FIRST AID
This course follows the basic lessons of immediate response first aid when dealing with home, work, or job site injuries/illness. Major topics taught by an American Heart Association Certified Instructor with practical experience in the EMS field include: Bleeding Control, Shock, Splinting of Broken Bones, Burns, Seizure Response, and many more. Classroom lessons can be tailored to the specific age-group and general setting of application (Summer Day Camp, Construction Site, Office, Home, etc.) The course takes approximately 3-4 hours based on the size of the class. HEALTHCARE PROVIDER BASIC LIFE SUPPORT CPR
This course is designed to provide an American Heart Association certification to those that work directly with patient care such as: Fire, EMS, and Police First Responders, School Nurses, and those that work in a physician setting. In addition to CPR and AED usage, participants will be instructed in and practice basic airway management and application of basic tools to assist patient breathing. The course is taught by an American Heart Association certified instruction with practical experience in the EMS field. The course takes approximately 3-4 hours based on the size of the class.
